Use Template Validation Settings to decide which parts LikhaDocs requires and prepares for the current report.

What the settings control

Template Validation Settings decides which placeholders and repeating rows are required for the current report. It also controls which writing and enhancement sections are prepared.

Selected sections

  • The matching placeholder or loop must exist in the Word template.
  • Required typed details must be filled in.
  • Source-based fields must have the selected text, URL, or PDF.
  • Premium prepares AI outputs only for selected AI-capable sections.

Unselected sections

  • The matching placeholder is not required during validation.
  • Saved data remains in the report unless you remove it.
  • An unselected AI section is not requested from the provider.
  • You can select it later and generate again when needed.

Test one section

    Open Settings

    Go to Template Validation Settings.

    Clear all selections

    Remove requirements that are unrelated to the test.
  3. 3

    Select one section

    Choose only the part you want to prepare.
  4. 4

    Add its required information

    Fill the related field or source.
  5. 5

    Prepare or generate

    Review the result before restoring the full report selections.
