Reference report versus template

Reference report

A Premium-only DOCX or PDF that guides AI tone and expected writing style.

Narrative Template

The DOCX document that contains placeholders and becomes the downloaded report.

Do not swap their purposes

Uploading a sample report does not make it the output template. Upload the required Word layout under Narrative Template.

Supported files

  • Reference reports may be DOCX or PDF.
  • PDF files can be previewed in the builder.
  • DOCX reference files can be opened or downloaded but do not have an in-page preview.
  • The file must pass upload validation and remain within the configured size limits.

Choose a good reference

  • Use a completed report with the tone and structure your school expects.
  • Remove unrelated or sensitive information when possible.
  • Do not use a reference containing facts that should be copied into your own report.
  • Treat the reference as style guidance, not evidence for your company or OJT details.
